Esta semana os traigo algo muy especial, un amigo de estos que haces
por las redes gracias a la música y un genio del Re-Work.
El Re-Work es el arte de seleccionar una canción y darle tu estilo,
modificar la canción añadiendo una entrada, cambiando el rtimo etc.

Buenas Mick !!! Como estas? empiezo con las preguntas para el Blog !!!
Bueno, lo primero de todo Mick, para mi no necesitas presentación, pero a
lo mejor alguno de los lectores del blog todavía no te conoce, te presentas a
nuestros lectores y les explicas un poco quien eres?
WN- Good Mick! How are you? I start with the questions for the Blog!
Well, first of all Mick, no need for my presentation, but maybe some
of the readers of the blog still does not know you, can you present
yourself to our readers and you explain a little who you are?
M- I am a massive lover of music from all era's and genres. In my life I
work on a nightshift so I have plenty of time to listen to music and plan
ideas of how I want a track to sound. I have a family which takes
up a big part of my life also.
Soy un amante de la música masiva de todo era y de géneros. En
mi vida, trabajar en un turno de noche, así que tengo un montón de
tiempo para escuchar música y planificar ideas de cómo quiero una
pista de sonido. Tengo una familia que tiene
una gran parte de mi vida también.
WN- Cuanto tiempo llevas en el mundo de la musica? Y cuanto tiempo
llevas haciendo “Re-Works” ¿
WN-How long have you been in the world of music? And how long
have you been doing "Re-Works"?
M- I began Re-Working music in my early teenage years ...The very
first track I reworked was Malcolm McLaren - Buffalo Gals and have
continued with my love of it ever since though I did take a long break
away from doing it for about 10 years although the ideas were still
there.
Comencé música Vuelva a trabajar en mis primeros años de
adolescencia ... La primera pista volví a trabajar era Malcolm McLaren
- Buffalo Gals y han continuado con mi amor de él desde entonces
cuando tomé un largo descanso
lejos de hacerlo durante unos 10 años, aunque las ideas seguían allí.
WN- Que tipo de software sueles emplear para realizar tus "Re-Works" ?
WN-What type of software usually use to make your "Re-Works"?
M- I use Ableton mainly and also use FL Studio to try and
create 'Backing Tracks' ....I also use Goldwave occasionally.
Yo uso Ableton principalmente y también utilizar FL Studio para tratar
de crear "Bases de Acompañamiento '.... También utilizo Goldwave
ocasionalmente.
WN “Re-work” para mi eres un genio en ese sentido, sigo tu trabajo a
través de las redes sociales y soundcloud, explícanos un poco en que
consiste un “Re-work”
WN- "Re-work" to me you are a genius in that sense, I follow your work
through social networks and soundcloud let some that is a 'Re-work "
M- With a Re-Work I will always try to create a new intro and outro to
a song that I use whilst extending and re-arranging the middle section
with added effects along the way.
Con un Re-Work siempre voy a tratar de crear una nueva intro y outro
a una canción que utilizo mientras ampliación y re-organización de la
sección central con efectos añadidos a lo largo del camino.
WN- Cuanto tiempo te lleva hacer un “Re-Work”? por que vemos que
subes bastantes a SoundCloud. Y además cuéntanos, cual es tu favorito
hasta la fecha, y el mas difícil de hacer.
WN-How long it takes to do a "Re-Work"? for we see you raise enough
to SoundCloud. And tell us, what is your favorite so far, and the most
difficult to do.
M- Re-Works can take from 2-3 hrs up to 4 days which is the longest
has taken me so far with a Michael Jackson edit that I did a good while
back. That was also my favourite one that I have done and
also the most difficult as I lifted the backing track segment from
a mixtape before extending and working on that before adding
the 'Human Nature' vocals to it whilst keeping the tempo and pitch at a
sustainable level with the backing track. It does still remain my
favourite Re-Work that I have done.
Re-Works puede tomar de 2-3 horas hasta 4 días, que es el más largo
me ha llevado hasta el momento con un Michael Jackson de edición que
hice un buen tiempo atrás. Eso también era mi favorita que he hecho y
también la más difícil cuando levanté el segmento de pista de fondo de
una mixtape antes de extender y trabajar en eso antes de añadir voces
la "naturaleza humana" a la misma, mientras que mantener el ritmo y
el paso a una
nivel sostenible con la música de fondo. No siguen siendo mi favorito
Re-trabajo que he hecho.
WN- En SoundCloud hay mucha gente que se dedica a hacer cosas
similares a las tuyas, quienes son tus favoritos?
WN-In SoundCloud many people dedicated to do similar things to
yours, who are your favorites?
M- I have many favourite Re-Workers in Soundcloud...To name a few :
Dynamicron.,Leonadis Deejay.,Discobody.,Karim Chehab...I also have
favourite Mixtape creators : Mixamorphosis.,Jay_Dub.,DJ ShmeeJay and
of course
WhyNotDJ.,to name a few also.
Tengo muchas Re-Trabajadores favorito en Soundcloud ... Para
nombrar algunos: Dynamicron, Leonadis Deejay, Discobody,
Karim Chehab ... También tengo creadores Mixtape favoritos:...
Mixamorphosis, Jay_Dub, DJ ShmeeJay y por supuesto..

WN- Nos gustaría saber a que canción te gustaría hacerle un Re-Work y
todavía no se lo has hecho ¿?
WN-We would like to know what song you would like to do a Re-Work
and yet you did not?
M- I would still love to though have not ventured to create a Re-Work
of an Alanis Morissette track ..She is my ultimate fave artist though
something always keeps me away from attempting for now.
Me encanta, aunque no me he aventurado a crear un Re-Work de
Alanis Morissette pista .. Ella es mi artista favorito definitivamente,
algo siempre me mantiene lejos de intentar por ahora.
WN- También en SoundCloud podemos encontrar un Mixtape tuyo, sueles
pinchar en algún club ¿ ¿?
WN- We can find some of your Mixtape at SoundCloud, you Djing on
some club ¿¿?
M- I no longer DJ on any scene....I do mixtapes now mainly for pleasure
and for friends.
No hago de DJ .... hago mixtapes ahora principalmente por placer y
para los amigos
