Peur, the French word for fear and pronounced 'per', are an alt-rock band hailing from Manchester, England. Ferociously impressive and creating a roaring sound that's both aggressive and melodic, the band have a real buzz about them with fans welcoming Peur's new take on traditional alt-rock.

Formed at the beginning of 2013 and citing influences as diverse as Biffy Clyro, Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, Placebo, Nine Inch Nails, 65daysofstatic and This Will Destroy You, their broad music taste has inspired them to write music with both complexity and mainstream appeal.

Regulars on the North West's lively music scene, Peur have gigged extensively and have supported the DZ Deathrays, Allusondrugs and Canadian rockers Dearly Beloved. Their music has earned airplay from BBC Radio and a range of independent and commercial FM and internet radio shows. Their Debut E.P 'We Can Build Astronauts' has received fantastic reviews and earned praise from Korn Guitarist, Munky.

'Explosions', the first single from the follow up EP 'Future Architects' has already attracted widespread attention, with the band invited onto a full UK Tour with UAE band EYE (Empty Yard Experiment) who themselves have supported the likes of Metallica, Anathema and Evanescence.
