About "FREAKS (Haitians AIN'T Slaves Remix): After Physha P's recent milestone, MTV's featuring of the b.i.g. Lou's “Do What You Do (2013 Remix)" and its ongoing success, Da Fam's Music and Physha P releases b.i.g. Lou's "Freaks (Haitians AIN'T Slaves Remix)." On "Freaks," b.i.g. Lou clearly proves talent STILL matters in today's money, sex, drugs obsessed, simple "nursery rhyme" schemes of urban music. "Freaks" displays a hungry MC's ability to marry a great beat with lyricism, wittiness, a liquid flow and clever world play; all of which is ironically done over an east coast, Dancehall rhythm and go-to, party rocker "Murder She Wrote" made world famous by Chaka Demus & Pliers (released in March 1994). The hook (chorus) is borrowed from the classic dancehall party-rocker "Freaks" by Lil Vicious and Dougie Fresh, originally released in 1993.

"Freaks" is an audio time machine forcing nostalgia amongst self proclaimed Hip-Hop heads who are 25+ years old during the genre's golden era. Then, talent, skills, and mastering one's MC craft were requirements to be part of the conversation. You just couldn't create "buzz" to get put on, because "buzz" alone, as in the case for many of today's "famous" rappers, does not generate big sales, a long lasting career, and a loyal fan base. "Freaks" shows that b.i.g. Lou has his own story to tell by standing up for something, aims to be great (not just famous), and is gunning for longevity.
