After the critically successful and ground-breaking record Elephants, Enter the Worship Circle artist Aaron Strumpel's follow-up record, Birds, released to similar acclaim. His grandfather taught him the ropes of bluegrass, folk and gospel music and these influences are more present now than ever in the style of Bob's songs and performances. In 2008, Bob joined Jon McLaughlin as a guitarist and toured extensively with him throughout the U.S. and Canada.
